David Hay
David works in partnership with PILOTinterim working on both interim and permanent executive appointments.
David has been a recruiter in the UK since the 1980s, following an earlier career in high technology sales. His recruitment career began with PA Consulting Group, firstly as an IT recruiter, later managing the consultancy’s recruitment activities in the Midlands, the South West of England and Wales.
He left the corporate world behind in 1995 to found his own firm operating an extremely flexible business model. The firm specialises in recruiting in the UK for small, ambitious overseas companies seeking to set up a UK or European operation and for start-ups.
Leveraging extensive experience of and contacts in the UK and international recruitment businesses, David provides a single point of contact for all of a client’s UK recruitment needs, from shop floor to board room and cross sector.

Hugh Ligertwood
Hugh’s career has been in international marketing with P&O based in UK and Dubai followed by positions in specialist aeronautics and corporate photography. For the last three years he has worked in board level research for interim turnaround and private equity opportunities. Hugh speaks fluent German with an Austrian accent.
